The Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale della Sicilia “A. Mirri” (IZSSi) is a health body of public law with administrative, managerial and technical autonomy that operates within the S.S.N. whose fundamental task is to carry out, throughout the region, health services necessary to guarantee the essential levels (LEA) of veterinary hygiene and public health. Among the institutional purposes of the IZSSi primary importance must be assigned to the activity of experimental veterinary scientific research, to the assessment of the health status of the farms and to the control of the healthiness of products of animal origin and of plants.... |
