Starting on 12/17/2024, I started planting pads that had broken off in the backyard. They had aged enough that they could be planted. I used the compost that the chickens had been pawing through to condition the soil. They replaced pads that have been eaten and are dying in any case. I don't know if they'll root at this time, but they won't keep until spring, so it's a try at least.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
