The cactus have taken quite a beating with the cold spell during January 2025. The earliest test, December 5th was with organic soy meal and gypsum. Those treated with gypsum looked pretty good, so I applied gypsum to the west half of the orchard and watered it in. Tomorrow the east have will get the gypsum treatment, then we'll see how they recover, or don't.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
