Yesterday a documentary crew was here for three hours documenting the effect of the aquifer draindown and my project of growing cactus as a replacement crop for high use water crops. Justin, Page, Charles and ? were here to take still shots and shoot a short question and answer session about these topics. This is the fourth contact with outside press that I've had since I've been here. Hopefully this will get people thinking about self-sufficiency and low water use crops.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
