Watered all 800 cactus today, 12-15-2024. I'll have about 50-60 replants due to ground squirrel predation. The soil on the eastern portion is not that good, lots more clay than to the west. Digging trenches for drip system near southern border.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
