I did an updated count of opuntia ficus indica cactus in the ground that is budding new pads of 720 cactus growing out of 764 in the ground. This does not count other varieties or species. 720/764 = 94.2%.
Some cactus are setting blossoms which will be the next statistic I'll monitor.
Work on the northeast corner irrigation line has begun.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
