Work done:
- Removed two stumps next to the mini-swale.
- Research on Peter Grandics.
- Water in vicinity of swale 11.
- Water swales on south side for oats and buckwheat.
Observations:
- Very windy today, with gusts to 25 mph.
- I was wrong about only one cactus creating buds. At least ten cactus are growing new pad buds, all on the east side of the pyramid.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
