Work done:
- Planted forty (40) pads (cladodes) on two surface rows and the remainder around a swale.
- Dug four holes for fruit trees, three of them need deepening.
Observations:
- Garbanzos are sprouting, not growing very fast but making progress.
- Cactus still looks shiny, fat and green.
- Clare Magoya coming to interview me next week.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
