Work done:
- Remove three invasive trunks and start building up swale #17 again.
- Cultivate swale #17 and #16 in preparation for possible rain on 22 January 2026.
- Shoot two short videos on current practices and observations.
Observations:
- Lots of cloud cover, obvious in person and on radar.
- Green and healthy appearance of all cactus species is evident. This was the subject of first video today.
- Mexicola Grande continues to suffer and lose new leaves, though I doused it in Microbs this morning. If it survives until spring, it will grow.
Farm Log Grow Site:
Sunizona, Arizona, USA: Site #0001
This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
