Work done:
- Planted large garbanzos in swale #3 as a test.
- Spot watering as required.
- Planted additional garlic near wall in backyard.
Observations:
- Went to Tuscon in the morning. Observed leaves still persisting on mesquite though some yellowing and full drops of leaves.
- Roberto's stand of ficus indica on 181 shows definite shine and health. This is about three miles from this location.
- Archie's cactus also show shine and robust health. Not as thick as mine, but they get no consistent watering. His stands are 800' away from main farm.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
