Work done:
- North swale is completed.
- Organized giant pile of mesquite wood opposite swale.
- Planted barley/oat seeds in swale #20 on south side.
- Watered other crop enplacements.
Observations:
- Shine on cactus still apparent and strong.
- Native cactus not quite shiny but still healthy.
- Clover sprouts still growing.
- Sorghum shoots coming back out.
- Huauzontle near swale #1 going to seed.
- Wheat in swales and backyard still growing. Secondary patch in backyard shows no sprouting.
- No sign of Swiss chard growth either in grow bed or swale #1.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
