Work done:
- Soaking two cups of regular large garbanzo beans for future planting.
- Cleared area on the north side for a new swale as more rains predicted.
- New north side swale is half complete. Soil most and full of rocks.
Observations:
- Weather cold and overcast.
- Cactus appear to still be in excellent condition.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
