Work done:
- Filled in most of water tank pit #1 at the southeast corner of the property. I'll work on holes for more cactus this coming week.
- Watered the seeded swales.
Observations:
- Crimson clover is sprouting more vigorously in swales where it has been introduced.
- I don't think the sorghum is completely dead from the cold. I think the roots are still viable.
- Cactus roots extended at least six feet towards the south as I moved the berm that used to be there from the tank pit. I did not notice roots extending towards the north from the last berm to be removed.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
