Work finished:
- Recovered unrooted and cured pads and planted them on swale berms (14-15).
- Minor watering due to still damp soil.
Observations:
- Sunflower plant that showed possible senescence starting to sprout new growth from main stem.
- Other sunflowers thriving and flowering.
- Huauzontle sprouting in swale #15 due to increased watering.
- Shine returning to all cactus.
- Partial clearing of artificial cloud cover.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
