Work done:
- Watered the Jerusalem artichoke and gourd swale.
- Watered one millet swale and part of the second millet swale.
- Weeding when possible in high winds.
- Tied down Santa Rosa plum with nylon rope.
Observations:
- Winds gusting to 30 mph at times.
- When watering in a swale, there is almost no wind effect on the spray.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
