Work done:
- Watering new swale seed plantings.
- Removed weeds from swale #7 and planted sorghum seeds in a pie pattern.
- Did more watering of the pear tree due to heat.
- Spread sorghum seeds in front of the house and did a long watering. These might shade the house.
- Watered south garden: flax, fennel, fig and saltbush.
- Started clearing weeds between swales 3 and 4.
Observations:
- No movement on the apricot yet.
- Guava is sprouting.
- Olives are sprouting.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
