Work done:
- Begin digging up swales on eastern side for sorghum.
- Planted sorghum in multiple swales after disturbing surface.
- Planted fennel in place of buckwheat area, which never took off.
- Took rosemary sprigs and put them in the pots near the pyramid. I put them under the wooden slats to avoid burning them while they root.
Observations:
- Spiny cactus flower buds getting bigger.
- Ficus indica taking off more slowly, though the pads are fatter. Some of the row extension plantings are beginning to bud out, so I watered them.
- Swale ficus indica are budding, but only a very few right now.
- I thought I saw green on the apricot, but then I could not locate it. Put another five gallons of Mikrobs on it.
- Pineapple guava is sprouting out now from what used to be bare branches.
- Olive trees growing quickly and will have olives, though it's unclear the olive fruit will reach maturity.
- Center circle cactus are budding. Hard to tell yet if any of them are fruit.
- Persimmon tree looks like it will bud.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
