Work done:
- Weeding around cactus.
- Re-loosen soil in swale #12 for black oil sunflower seeds. Planted seeds, then watered them.
- Re-dig soil in swale #9 to plant balance of sunflower seeds. Planted and watered.
- Received two small loquat plants. Soaked in Mikrobs water, then potted and put into the grow box.
Observations:
- Robusta, linguiformis and arizonica are putting on flower buds. More of the ficus indica appear to be doing the same. I will water tomorrow.
- Radishes in swale #11 are getting bigger.
- Wheat in backyard getting much taller.
- No growth on ginger or turmeric.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
