Work done:
- Remove fresh tumbleweeds from fence line. More to come.
Observations:
- Light rain to steady rain so far (almost noon).
- Some of the metal sheeting screwed onto the chicken coop is coming loose. I estimate the wind gusted to 70 mph for short periods. Plastic roof panels I had on the grow beds were torn loose, even though heavy propane tanks were holding them down.
- Rainfall is good, and continuing. Thousands of young tumbleweed plants are sprouting. I'll wait until they're bigger and feed them to the chickens.
Farm Log Grow Site:

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
