Work done:
- Removed big stump from easternmost swale. Started filling in berm.
- Moved dead mesquite wood over electric fence making room for pond.
- Watered half the cactus.
- Removed glass needle plants from between rows 9 and 10. Dumped remains in compost pit.
Observations:
- It was over 80° Fahrenheit today. It's summer weather in spring.
- More garlic sprouting on swale #11.
- Cactus on swale #11 are also sprouting.

This is the first grow site and plant breeding site. Expansion is under way to have a stock of four thousand (4,000) growing opuntia ficus indica and other varieties.
Our main goal here is to create hard freeze resistant stock and to open a nursery (wholesale and retail).
