Medicinal plants are of great importance to human health. This is why the World Health Organization estimates that 80% of the population in developing countries relies on traditional medicine for their primary health care. Therefore, medicinal plants play important role in the socio- cultural and therapeutic needs of peoples. Some of these plants are used as spices and foods, also serve as a resource for research and development of new drugs.
