He holds a degree and master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from the State University of Paraíba (UEPB), a doctorate and a postdoctoral degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). He is a professor at UFCG, full in the Academic Unit of Development Technology (UATEC) at the Sustainable Development Center of the Semi-Arid (CDSA). He is a member of the Professional Master in Water Resources Management and Regulation (ProfÁgua) and serves as a collaborating professor of the Graduate Program in Agricultural Engineering (PPGEA) of UFCG. He has experience in the area of Agricultural Sciences/Agricultural Engineering/Vegetable Physiology, with emphasis on Ecophysiology of Cultivated Plants, Management of the Soil-Plant-Atmosphere System, Seed Priming and Multivariate Data Analysis, acting mainly in the manipulation of light radiation and photomorphogenesis, application of phytomonies, phytoregulators and eliculators for induction of tolerance of plants.
