José Dantas Neto

Technician in Agriculture from the Agricultural College Vidal de Negreiros -CAVN (1974), holds a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Paraíba (1978), a degree in Law from the State University of Paraíba (2000), a master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (1984) and a doctorate in Agronomy (Irrigation and Drainage) from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1994). He is currently Full Professor at the Federal University of Campina Grande. He has experience in the area of Agricultural Engineering, with emphasis on Irrigation and Drainage, working mainly on the following topics: irrigation, fertilization, bioenergetic crops, irrigated forage, water footprint and rational use of water.
