Work done:
- Watering of swales.
- Planted left over melon seeds in a westward swale.
- Weeding at various locations.
- Stump removal at #10, others to follow.
- Removed remaining mustard plants and soaked ground in rear garden for further crop plantings.
Observations:
- Massive flower buds on spiny cactus.
- Emerging flower buds on ficus indica.
- Pears on pear tree are maturing, getting bigger. No noticeable drop off.
- Thousands of pecans still holding on eastward pecan tree.
- Minor sprout on base of apricot tree above graft point. Noticed it had been eaten by something, so I put the old avocado wire cage around it to protect it.
- Sorghum is beginning to sprout in most of the swales.
- Walking onions sprouting at fence wall in south garden.
- Many flowers on pomegranate tree, expecting a big harvest.
- Flower buds appearing on easternmost honey locust tree.
- Mulberry fruits turning red and enlarging.
- Olive flower buds holding and maturing.
- Persimmon tree spouting.
- Single pads on certain swales putting on large numbers of flower buds. Most of these seem to be in an east/west or north/south position on the swales. This could signify an energy signature in the pyramidal shaped swales at those positions.
- Grape vine putting on leaves. Will watch for grape buds as time goes on.
